Hello! My name is pumpkinnubbin! and I'm excited to be here. I've been roleplaying for about 3 years now.My time zone is +1 GMT. and that's all you need to know about me! Oh, and this is what an average post for me looks like:
She sat alone in her room, not bothering to turn on the lights even though the sun had set hours ago. The small box she kept in her night stand was currently placed in her lap and she slowly traced the picture inside, eventually lifting it out to hold. She let out a sigh, cradling the picture against her chest and before she could help herself, a soft sob escaped her lips. Kate hated crying. She wasn't one to cry. But it had been ten years now and the memory was as fresh as ever, the picture in her hands the last precious remain of what she once had. There was a soft knock on the door and she quickly collected herself, wiping the few tears from her cheeks and calling her visitor in. Will frowned at the lack of light and Kate turned the one on her night stand on.
"Hey. What's up?" She asked, hoping her voice didn't sound too choked.
"I haven't seen much of you today so I wanted to see if you were okay."
He offered her a genuine smile and the fear of having been caught crying vanished.
"Yeah, I'm fine, Will. Just didn't feel like hanging out today."
Will nodded absently, his eyes on the picture she held like it was the most precious treasure in her world. He opened his mouth to ask about it but was cut short.
"Listen, I appreciate you checking up on me but I'm good. Really. I just need some alone time. And I know that expression, don't start asking questions you know I'm not gonna answer. If I wanted to talk, I'd come talk." Kate stated, her voice steadier than she would have thought it would be.
She didn't feel like being psycho analysed and she wasn't ready to talk about why she was upset.
"All right. But you skipped dinner so try and grab a bite later."
Kate nodded and they both knew it wasn't going to happen. He left though, closing the door behind him and Kate eventually tore her gaze from the door and down to her hands. She traced the so very familiar face on the picture with a sad smile. It was the last picture she had of him. The last one they had taken before he was killed. She missed him and every once in a while, she let herself cry over him, remembering their time together and how much she had loved him.
She'd be up to no good again the next day but tonight was about them.
