personality:Addie is ambitious, but self deprecating to a fault, which may have kept her from advancing in her career. She doesn't let people get close to her very often, which only adds to her fear of commitment. The only person she cares about is her little sister Hannah who is significantly younger then her. She keeps Hannah a secret from basically everyone she meets, but goes to visit her as often as she can in California. She can often be found pouring over research and a bottle of grey goose if she isn't out on a dig. She likes her job because it keeps her moving around. When she isn't on a dig or pouring over research she can often be found practicing her archery, which is a hobby she picked up from her father.
Her spirituality keeps her grounded even when she struggles with her personal faults. She enjoys observing people when she's out in public. Addie has many flaws and vices, but generally tends to have people's best interests at heart.

- Was in a long term relationship with a man named Alex who was a driver she met on a dig in Egypt. They were together for 3 years (her longest relationship ever) when he proposed. On the day of their wedding she had a panic attack and left Alex at the alter. That was about a week ago.
- Just moved to New York from London, England where she had been based out of for the last 3 years because Alex has a flat there.
- She was born in Belfast, Ireland and lived there until the age of 4 (mostly with a nanny) until her parents decided to start taking her on expeditions with them.
- She was homeschooled by her mother until University because she was always travelling with her parents.
- She feels responsible for her parents death because it was she who insisted that they go on the expedition that they died on.
- Has been a practicing pagan for many years
- Grew up all over the world with her parents because they were out on expeditions
- Started smoking about a year after her parents died, which was the same time she stopped seeing her therapist
- Parents died when she was 19 and her sister was 9
- Took over caring for her sister when her parents died and currently pays for her to go to school at the University of California

- Has a BSc from Brown Univeristy in Archaeology and the Ancient World.

The sky was bright oranges and pinks as the sun rose that morning. Addie stood nervously on a street corner chain-smoking in a desperate attempt to keep her whole body from shaking. She had sworn the other day that she was going to quit...for the hundredth time. That was before she had left her fiancé at the aisle though. Before she had packed up all of her things and moved to New York and most importantly before she had received that mysterious phone call from the woman who wouldn't reveal her name asking her to meet on this street corner at this ungodly hour of the day. She told herself she'd quit tomorrow, but she already knew that was a lie as well. She squinted in the brightness of the morning while she surveyed her surroundings and took another drag of her cigarette. The streets were quiet still, but it wouldn't be long until they were crammed with commuters racing to get to work.
She looked to her left and saw a woman walking towards her who hadn't been there a minute ago. She couldn't figure out where the woman had come from, but there was no denying she was headed straight for Addie. As she approached Addie could see that she had flowing blonde hair that was peaking out from underneath a black cowl hood that caused shadows to dance across the woman's face. All Addie could hear was the click click click of the woman's heals pounding in her ears as she took the final drag of her cigarette and threw it to the ground. The woman reached her just as she put out her cigarette with the sole of her boot.
"You came" the woman said. "I did. Are you surprised?" Addie inquired. The woman didn't answer, but simply said "follow me". Addie didn't argue, but followed the woman down a dark alley. She had no idea what the woman had in store for her, but whatever it was couldn't be worse then the situation she had left behind in London.
