personality:Will has proven himself to be a good man, with talents for psychiatry and analysis. Although, his lack of interest with sticking with the status quo lost him his job at the FBI, leaving him to work with the homicide department of the Old City Police Department until he is recruited by Magnus to work for the Sanctuary.
Will has proven himself to be a trustworthy protege, and someone that all the Sanctuary members trust to watch their backs. He is someone that you would want around, as Will would do anything for those he considers friends. Will is a little impatient when it comes to getting information from people - although this is most likely why Magnus and himself get along so well.
He is a little empathic, which comes in handy when dealing with the abnormals of the Sanctuary, especially the ones that are new. This helps people, and abnormals a like develop a "bond" of trust with him.
Over the course of his time at the Sanctuary, Will has shown great leadership potential and cam run the Sanctuary network effectively during any time that Magnus is absent. Although, he will complain about all the paperwork involved while doing so.
While they work together well, Will has shown a dislike towards Nikolai Tesla. Something that seems to be reflected back by Tesla whenever they meet again.
Will is currently in a happy relationship with Abby Corigan, an FBI Officer, who he first met during a course at the FBI academy in Quantico. Although, it was not until recently when they met again at the Sanctuary, that Will knew who she was. At that point, there was a mutual attraction between the two and they ended up going on their first date shortly after the case.
Will is currently working at the Old City Sanctuary with Helen Magnus, Biggie, and Henry Foss.
history:As a child, Will's mother was killed by an Abnormal, to which no one would believe him and he decided he was seeing things. Will throws himself into studying the human mind, and how we can mistake illusion for reality. This made things more complicated after he joined the Sanctuary and discovered the truth.
After being recruited by Dr. Magnus in her work at the Sanctuary, Will discovers a new and strange world that is both unbelievable yet completely plausible to him. While his ideas have put him ahead of his time, he finds the world of "abnormals" to be fantastical in a way he can ultimately understand.
Although Will was less than comfortable at first, he has proven himself invaluable in gaining the confidence of his first patient, an abnormal child. This only serves to prove that Magnus was right about his instinct and genuine thirst to know the truth. And she knows that he will prove invaluable to the Sanctuary. He has also totally proven himself to Ashley Magnus after helping to rescue her from what could have been her death.
His choice to stay at the Sanctuary is made after a conversation with Dr. Magnus when she reveals her deepest secrets to him. I haven't really role played much before, although I would like to do more of it. other characters on this site that belong to me are none. my time zone is NZ GMT +12. and that's all you need to know about me! oh, and this is what an average post for me looks like:The alarm screeched as Will ran down the hallway of the Sanctuary, past all the Victorian style furniture that Magnus was so found of. He slowed as he approached the door to Henry's lab. The door was already ajar as he pushed it further to see Henry crouched over his desk at the computer with Magnus standing watch. "What's the trouble?" he asks as he approaches the counter. Henry slides across the floor to another computer screen as Magnus turns.
"We're not sure yet, Will. Henry? Anything yet?."
Henry pushes his chair back across the floor and Will notices the look on his face "What is it, Henry? You have the same look you did the time that we were hunting that slime creature in Ireland." Henry nodded in recognition as he answered remembering back to that afternoon and feeling a shudder of disgust race through his shoulders. "The Sanctuary firewall system has been taken down. We're completely open.I can't get it back online"
Will looks over at Magnus as a wave of concern washes over them both. Will responds first "How is that possible? Can we shut the system down?:
"Only if you want all the residents running free as well." Henry responded, crouched over his keyboard and furiously typing. Before Magnus could respond, the alarms stopped. She smiled "Well done, Henry."
"Don't thank me yet. All I did was disconnect us from the outside world. It's only a temporary fix, but for the moment, we are completely on our own."
MUST BE BASED ON YOUR CHARACTER, ESPECIALLY IF YOU PLAN ON PLAYING A CANON CHARACTER. If you ARE playing a canon, please make sure you have some dialogue in there so I am aware on not only your level of role-playing, but more-so how WELL you can play them. This is crucial to the site, and if you cannot grasp that character, then I may pass that character to someone else. I'm not overly strict about this, but I would rather take that character out of play, then have someone unable to do the character justice.application template by hey baybay !? at caution
