[ooc] Pardon my ramblings on computer/technology. My knowledge on it is rubbish. lol
Sometimes, one can learn a lot from children's fairy tales. House of bricks, a wolf in women's disguise, breadcrumbs, candy house... After Adam's encrypted message to Michael seemed to have gone unnoticed, the man took a braver step forward. While Nikola Tesla may be unpredictable in his schedule, Henry Foss isn't. With over a century's life experience, it will be unforgivable if one doesn't take as many precautions and see as many possibilities as possible. After a few combinations of tries for going through and around the firewall, Adam found a pattern--there was a thinning of the firewall at certain intervals and each time, he was able to take a peek into the less secured files. His decipher of these patterns led him to believe that Henry was doing a system scan of the Sanctuary's computers. But Adam had to be careful, one false move can lead to alerting the Sanctuary of a security breach. With the added considerations of Nikola Tesla fiddling with the systems, it was probably going to take Adam longer than he would have wanted.
New plans. Adam timed the schedule of automated scans and peeked through just enough to lift the surface files--contacts and schedules planned of the Sanctuary members. Mundane tasks, things that proved invaluable to any one after Helen and the Sanctuary. Anyone else, of course. Messages sent between the Sanctuarian staff are encrypted out of caution, under the assumption that by the time any government bodies had encrypted them, their tasks have already been done. But it was different for Adam--he's faster, and smarter. Helen Magnus was coming to town and he was going to make that into his advantage.
Hacking into her email account was a simple feat done within minutes, just in time to intercept the encrypted message from the concubine. Adam narrowed his eyes at the message--the suspicious accident along 3rd street can be ignored. Hmm...what would the not-very-bright concubine say? His fingers hovered over the keyboard for a moment.
Need you to take a detour. Henry needs some of those colored wires for the computers from "FT Tech" on the 8th Avenue.
With a smirk, Adam leaned back into his chair and lets the message re-encrypt itself before sending it on its way into Helen's inbox. Now, Adam just have to wait for the breadcrumbs to bring the House of Candy to Hansel.
