Yeah, he's not in Old City. That's one of the problems I'm having when trying to counsel Michael.
I'd love to do a thread set in the past, to give them a pre-existing Doctor and patient relationship, but I think Adam was in Hollow Earth in 2009. Any time after, and Aaron would have joined the Sanctuary, so he'd be more aware of Adam.
How are you picturing Adam's showdown with Helen? If Adam was (or let himself be) captured by the Sanctuary, Aaron would still try to counsel him. No therapist could resist the opportunity to question a patient with DiD. That's just a suggestion though. I'm not sure if Adam's showdown with Helen could realistic end with him being brought into the Sanctuary.
Aaron's hatred of abnormals is very repressed, but it runs deep. It's gone untreated, festering. It was the death of Adam's daughter that pushed Adam over the edge. The death of Aaron's wife is equally as painful for Aaron, but he repressed it. Adam could easily use that to get Aaron to blame Helen. But Aaron wouldn't stop at blaming Helen. He would blame all abnormals. And Adam is an abnormal. Who knows? In the end, Adam and Helen may have to work together to stop Aaron!
I don't want Aaron to turn into a human extremist just yet, so we have some time before we should start a thread. Unless we can figure out some Adam-Aaron interaction which doesn't have Aaron lose the grip of what restraint and sanity he has?....
