[OOC= Sorry about not posting for a bit, been a bit slack I know. I'll try to keep it up more]
It was almost 10 as Will walked out of the corridor and into his office. He hesitated for a moment – coffee in hand - and looked over at his desk. A couple of piles of paperwork sat on each side, piled almost as high as they computer monitor that they were sitting next beside.
Will lifted his coffee to his lips and took a sip as he rolled his eyes at the work. He was sure that the pile had grown since the last time, which wasn’t that long ago – a week at best. He walked over and sat down in the chair, almost slipping off on the smooth leather but catching himself before he did.
He placed his mug on the desk, at the same moment, noticing a post note stuck to the front of the monitor which read:
Please get this paperwork up to date, Will – Magnus.
Will shook his head with a smile, as he peeled the note of the monitor, and stuck it on the top of the pile to his right. Will moved the mouse and the computer whirred into life as the screen blinked with colour and he typed his password into the keyboard. The screen shook as if he had typed incorrectly. Will looked confused, and typed again. This time, more slowly to ensure he typed the correct password.
Again the login prompt shook as if it was incorrect. Will threw up his hands in frustration and the chair creaked loudly as he leant back. I wonder if Henry’s doing anything with the system. He thought to himself. Will leant forward - the chair once again complaining loudly as he moved - and pushed around some papers to reveal a phone on the desk. He picked up the handset and dialled Henry’s lab. Will kept the phone to his ear as the phone continued to ring with no answer. Where was Henry? He wondered to himself as he put the phone back on its cradle. He decided that he would start on the papers that didn’t require logging into the system, and sort it out with Henry later.
Will pulled some of the papers from the left pile towards him and began looking through – pen in hand and began signing the ones he needed to. His phone buzzed in his pocket, so he stopped and pulled it out. A tweet showed on the screen. It was from Abby’s twitter. She had re-tweeted something funny from someone else. Will smiled at the image, but decided to continue with paperwork than post a response. Otherwise he may get distracted, and the paperwork would grow larger. Though, he did post a quick tweet about Henry breaking his login. He smiled as he pressed send and put the phone down on the desk.
I wonder what Henry will say to that? He thought to himself as he picked up the papers and began signing again.
